Director appointed for ASEAN region
Fusion has announced the appointment of Seow Kik Hooi (left) as Regional Director for ASEAN.
Seow – or 'SK' - has extensive working experience throughout the ASEAN region, including the acquisition
and management of business operations in Vietnam. Before joining Fusion, SK was the General Manager
for Monier Roofing GmbH in Malaysia. His career has primarily focused on new market development,
business turnaround initiatives, and sales and marketing across the construction sector.
Seow's primary location will be the Fusion Malaysia office, but he will be travelling widely to support
Fusion's existing business activities in Indonesia, Myanmar and Singapore. Over time, as firm foundations
are built in these markets, Seow will look to extend Fusion's presence into further ASEAN territories.
Fusion Provida UK Ltd and Utility Power Systems Ltd bought by Wolseley UK
Fusion Provida UK Limited (FPUK) and Utility Power Systems Limited (UPS), two trading businesses of Fusion Group
Ltd, have been bought by Wolseley UK.
Wolseley UK is the main operating subsidiary of Wolseley plc, the world's largest specialist trade distributor of plumbing and
heating products to professional contractors and a leading supplier of building materials in North America, the UK and Continental
Europe. It provides construction products and materials through a nationwide branch network, including Plumb and Parts Center,
Pipe Center, Climate Center, Drain Center, Burdens, bcg, Integrated Services and William Wilson.
The sale includes lease of FPUK's National Sales Office, National Distribution Centre, Hire & Repair facility, and the UPS facilities in
Chesterfield, Derbyshire, and FPUK's eight regional depots. The sale covers some 200 FPUK and UPS employees.
